1. Start yoga and meditate

Both can make you more relaxed and focused . Doing it consistently can reduce stress and boost stamina.

Also proven in a study involving 27 participants from medical students. The results also show that meditation or yoga can reduce stress levels and improve body well-being .

2. Exercise

It must be tiring and heavy to start exercising. Even if it’s difficult, push yourself to physical activity. Because this method is able to restore stamina after illness. For example, cycling, walking in the morning, or jogging.

According to Kerry J. Stewart, professor and clinical director of exercise and research physiology at the Hopkins University School of Medicine, exercise consistently enhances morale and overall quality of life.

Efficiently, exercise can improve heart, lung, and muscle health. Physical activity can fulfill your stamina. For those of you who are almost hit by deadlines every day, it’s good to exercise to pump stamina .

3. Drink lots of water as a way to restore stamina

Keeping the body hydrated is one way to restore stamina. At least, everyone should drink 2 liters or 8 glasses of water every day.

To determine whether you are not drinking enough or not, look at the color of your urine. If your urine is dark yellow, that’s a sign you’re not drinking enough. However, if the color is bright yellow to clear, it means you are drinking enough.

4. Eat more often

After being sick, usually the body still feels weak. Try to eat more, as a way to restore stamina. You can eat small, frequent meals throughout the day.

Choose foods that contain complex carbohydrates. Complex carbohydrates usually take longer to be absorbed by the body and prevent blood sugar spikes.

5. Get enough sleep

Even though you need to be physically active while you recover, don’t neglect rest periods. Lack of sleep can increase fatigue, which can lead to you feeling weak again the next day.

At least everyone needs at least 10 minutes to rest between activities. Meanwhile, the quality of a person’s sleep hours is at least 7-8 hours per day .

Remember the points above as a way to restore stamina after illness. So you can focus and concentrate optimally when you return to your activities.
